I learned a lot from CTMod when I was first getting into modding. After a while, I moved to the Ace framework, which comes with its own set of conventions, but abstracts a lot of the grunt work away from you.

Though I am hopeful that in the long run this will change and farmers are paid a wage equal to their labor, unless China opens up its markets that will be hard to gauge.

POINT THREE: MULTI-ZONING

I play maybe 2 hours at most on any given night. Given the small amount of time I have been able to play my main WoW char, I am doing extremely well, far better and way more efficient than most others for the amount of time I have played. A few days ago, I was in Elwynn Forest with a newbie char doing the missions there. Nearly everyone was human. I was the only dwarf I saw all night. Why? Because all the dwarves were up in Dun Morogh, their own starting region. Because I was already level 9 when I hit Elwynn Forest, I breezed through all the missions there, rapidly gaining EXP.

At level 9 in Dun Morogh, I left the region because the remaining quests there were either at my level (9), or were a few levels above me. Trying to do quests that are higher levels than you can take many trips to the graveyard, and is not very efficient. I didn't feel like running around trying to find a team, so I left the region and headed for Elwynn Forest.

I quickly did the primary missions in Elwynn Forest, jumped to Westfall and did several quests there, until the only quests left were orange and red ones. Rather than wasting time doing an orange quest (a quest 2-3 levels higher than me), I simply returned to Dun Morogh at level 14, and finished up all those level 9-12 quests. I cant tell you how fast you can level by doing quests 2-3 levels beneath you (green ones), rather than 2-3 levels above you! Every 6 levels or so, you should be leaving your current zone, and taking the quests in the neighboring zone. But make sure you dont wait too long! If you wait until level 20 as a human to go do the Dwarf Quests in Dun Morogh, you wont get hardly any exp for them because everything you kill will be a gray.

Bindings of Winter Gale - speaking of best in slot for elemental shaman, these hard mode Hodir bracers are extremely well itemized (as you would expect for an iLevel 239 drop) and will probably be one of many bones of contention between elemental shamans and holy paladins, who often look for the same stats. As you can expect, I'm on the side of the elemental shamans. Heck, these are pretty solid for restoration, since crit and haste are pretty sweet for that spec as well (faster casts and Ancestral Awakening procs) but I'd definitely pass to the elementals. I'm not passing to paladins. You guys can outbid me on DKP if you really want these.

I've just been working on setting up a clean UI that still retains the look and feel of a full UI while still minimizing the amount of clutter on-screen. I'm currently running WoW @ 1920x1080 resolution. This is my first shot at designing a UI so I just wanted to toss this out there to see what people would think. I started using Btex for the background a few weeks ago and couldn't find what I wanted so I decided to draw my own.

you're a DPSing shaman of any spec looking for some haste, look no further than the Vestige of Haldor. It combines a sizeable static haste boost with an interesting DPS proc. I don't have one and know no one who does, so if it's worth it I really can't say. If the proc is the 15% some folks claim, even with a hidden 45 second cooldown, this could be a very nice trinket indeed.

Tor's Crest is a caster shield, nominally more suited to elemental than resto due to its total lack of MP5. The Signet of Ranulf is a spell power ring with some haste, making it usable by either elemental or resto. (My current resto spec/gear selection makes a lot of use of crit and haste, but not every resto shaman likes them as much as I do.) The Shroud of Resurrection is very appealing to resto with the MP5.

What about heroic drops, you may ask? There are actually quite a few worth mentioning. The Staff of Wayward Principles is less good for shamans than other casters due to the spirit (why, in all the recent back and forth about elemental shaman DPS, has no one tried to make spirit not suck for us? If you're going to normalize gear, you kind of should make it so not so much of that gear is meh at best for a class) but it's still got pretty hefty haste and spell power. And if you like haste and spell power, the Ring of the Frenzied Wolvar may appeal to you. The Netherbreath Spellblade has spirit as well, but the crit, spell power and the fact that it's a dagger (I know it looks like a sword, but it's a dagger) means elemental shamans are going to give it a look.

The Meteorite Whetstone will most likely be sought after by your average enhancement shaman. I haven't heard of casters going for it that much, although I can't say the proc sounds bad as a caster. I know you'd make a lot of melee cry if you took this. The Massive Spaulders of the Jormungar are definitely a reason for an enhancement shaman to run UP, although let's face it, they're ugly. Terribly, terribly ugly. The Mantle of Discarded Ways are your caster shoulder option from the Pinnacle. Elemental shamans are also going to be very interested in the Crenelation Leggings, as well as possibly being interested in the Girdle of Bane even though it has spirit and is cloth. Stats don't lie, and it has hit and spell power galore. Enhancement, meanwhile, will be looking for the Sovereign's Belt to drop.

Mana consumption can be an issue for the paladin class, the Benediction talent helps to lessen that. Many of your spells are instant cast spells such as your judgments and seals, this talent will allow you more use of them before needing to rest.

2/2 Improved Judgments - Decreases the cool down of your Judgment spells by 2 seconds.

You should make an effort to consistently use your Judgments as the will be an additional source of healing, damage, or mana restoration depending on the type you use.

3/3 Heart of the Crusader - In addition to the normal effect, Judgment spells will also increase the critical strike chance of all attacks made against that target by an additional 3%.
